What is TrackingTCG?

TrackingTCG is a collection tracker, not a shop and not a marketplace. Nothing is bought or sold here. The catalogue is already built, so a set arrives listed by series, set, card number and variant, and the work of typing out a card list is not yours to do.

The idea it is built around is that a collection is not a pile count. It is a difference against a known list. Knowing you own four hundred Pokémon cards tells you very little; knowing you are eleven cards short of finishing a particular set tells you what to do next. Every progress bar on the site is that difference.

Why was TrackingTCG made?

Because we were the problem. We collect more than one trading card game, and the collections overlap: the same shelf, the same binders, the same budget, and often the same afternoon spent working out what is missing.

Every tracker we could find handled exactly one game. So tracking two meant two separate sites, two logins, and two sets of progress that had no idea the other existed. Neither could answer anything about the overlap, because neither knew there was one. We kept meaning to find the site that did all of it, and eventually accepted that we were going to have to build it.

That is the whole idea: one account, one place, however many games you collect. The single-account part works today, and the same login carries your Pokémon, One Piece and Palworld collections. The combined view that shows all of them together in one summary does not exist yet. It is the thing we most want to build next, and until it does, it stays in the list further down of what this site cannot do.

Which trading card games does TrackingTCG support?

TrackingTCG supports three trading card games. Pokémon is the most developed module. One Piece and Palworld are in beta, which here means the browsing and tracking work but some features that exist for Pokémon have not been built for them yet.

Pokémon Trading Card Game

Every series and expansion is browsable, each card has its own page, and quantities are tracked per variant, so a holo and a reverse holo of the same card are counted separately. All three completion tiers are computed. Pokémon has a stats dashboard, a public profile page, rule-based collections including ready-made Pokédex-by-generation pages, and it is the only game with card prices.

One Piece Card Game (beta)

Sets and cards are browsable and every individual printing has its own page, which is also the unit a quantity is recorded against. All three completion tiers are computed, and there is a stats dashboard that can be shared. Custom collections are in beta. One Piece has no card prices and no profile landing page.

Palworld Official Card Game (beta)

Sets and cards are browsable, each card has a page, and parallels are tracked as separate cards rather than as variants of one card. Palworld computes two completion tiers, Base and Master, not three. There is no card-variant table underneath it to build a third from, and an invented third bar would be worse than a missing one. Palworld has no card prices, no public profiles and no sharing.

Is TrackingTCG free?

Yes. Creating an account is free and asks for no card details. Browsing the whole catalogue is free, tracking your collection is free, and the stats pages and the completion tiers are free on every supported game.

A paid Premium tier is planned, and some of the site refers to it. It cannot currently be bought, because there is no checkout. Nothing you can see today sits behind a payment.

Do I need an account to use TrackingTCG?

Browsing needs no account. You can read the whole catalogue, open any card and look at any set without signing in. Tracking needs one, because a count has to be stored against something.

You can sign up with an email address and a password, or with an existing Google or Discord account. Two-factor authentication using an authenticator app is available in your settings if you want it.

How does TrackingTCG track a collection?

Tracking a collection on TrackingTCG takes three steps.

1. Open the set you want to work through, or search for a card by name, card number, set name or set abbreviation.
2. Set a count against each card you own. On Pokémon, where one card exists in several printings, you choose which variant you are counting.
3. The completion bars update as you go, on the set, on the game's stats page and on the set list.

A spreadsheet does some of this, and it has real advantages TrackingTCG does not: it works offline, it is portable, and nobody else decides what its columns mean. What it will not do is know the card list. It cannot tell you that a set has a card you have never heard of, because you are the one who typed it in.

What are Base, Master and Grandmaster sets?

Base, Master and Grandmaster are three progressively stricter definitions of a finished set. They exist because collectors disagree about what "complete" means, and the disagreement is legitimate, so TrackingTCG measures all of them rather than picking one.

Base set

The main numbered cards. The most common definition of finishing a set.

Master set

The base set plus the variants you can pull from packs.

Grandmaster set

Every printing that exists, including those found outside packs.

The arithmetic behind each tier differs per game, because the games are printed differently. On Pokémon the tiers follow the card numbering, then pack-sourced variants, then all variants. On One Piece they follow the card numbers belonging to a set, then every printing in it, then printings of those cards that appear in other sets as well. On Palworld only Base and Master are computed.

Does TrackingTCG show card prices?

Card prices on TrackingTCG are shown on the Pokémon module only. One Piece and Palworld have no pricing.

Two sources are used. One is Cardmarket, in euros. The other is JustTCG, which publishes its own blended market value drawn from online marketplace activity and from real in-store sales. It is not TCGplayer's market price, and it is labelled as JustTCG throughout the site for that reason. Each figure shows when it was recorded, so you can see how fresh it is rather than having to trust a claimed update schedule.

Prices are informational. TrackingTCG does not sell cards, does not take a commission on any sale, and does not value your collection for insurance or for tax. You can turn price display off in your settings.

Is my collection private?

Collections on TrackingTCG are private by default. A new account shares nothing, and nothing becomes visible to anyone else until you change a setting yourself.

Visibility is set per game, so opening up your Pokémon collection does not open up your One Piece one. There are three levels: private, visible to people who follow you, and public. Separate switches control whether quantities and completion statistics are included when someone else does look. Making anything public asks you to confirm your age first.

You can pause your account, which keeps your data but takes it out of use, or delete it. Deletion runs on a 30-day grace period and can be cancelled during it. What is stored and for how long is set out on the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which are the authoritative statements, not this page.

What does TrackingTCG not do yet?

This list is the boundary of every other claim on this page. If something is not described above and is not listed here, assume it does not exist yet.

• Deck building and deck lists: the deck pages are placeholders.
• Wishlists: not built.
• A combined dashboard across all three games: not built; each game has its own stats page.
• Price alerts: the buttons are placeholders and tell you so.
• Prices on One Piece and Palworld: Pokémon only for now.
• Public profiles on Palworld: Palworld has no sharing at all.
• Buying Premium: there is no checkout.
• Changing your account email address: not available in settings yet.
• Downloading your collection yourself: there is no self-service export.
• Card condition and personal notes: the tabs exist on the card popup but are not finished.

Who makes TrackingTCG?

Collectors, is the short answer: the same ones who wanted this to exist and got tired of waiting for it. TrackingTCG is an independent, fan-made collection tracking platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any trading card game publisher or rights holder. All card images, logos and related assets shown here are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and informational purposes.

You will not find a company name, a registered address or a registration number on this page, and that is deliberate rather than evasive. The trading entity behind TrackingTCG has not been published yet, and publishing a name that is not yet the registered one would be worse than publishing none. The same four fields read "not yet published" on the Terms and the Privacy Policy, and they will be filled in together. Nothing on the site can be paid for until they are.

How do I contact TrackingTCG?

The contact form is the route for questions, bug reports, corrections to card data and suggestions about which game should be added next. The aim is to reply within 24 to 48 hours.

If a card, a set or a price looks wrong, please do tell us. The catalogue is large, we do not own every card in it, and a collector who knows one set properly will spot things we never would. The same goes for this page. If something described here has gone out of date, that is a bug like any other, and we would rather hear it from you than leave it sitting there being wrong.
